Carla Freschi (she/her) is a Latin American artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Freschi has cultivated an artistic perspective shaped by her living experiences in Uruguay, Australia, Italy, and Denmark. These culturally diverse locations have not only fueled her interest in other cultures but also provided a rich anthropological foundation for her practice. She explores themes such as language and tradition, as well as engaging in personal introspective topics like intuition and imperfection.

Exhibiting in galleries, art fairs, solo and group exhibitions, her work is held in private collections around the world, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Canada, France, Switzerland, Italy, and the United States, to name a few.

With a background in fashion design, Carla aims to combine the imaginary with her knowledge of natural fibers within the context of contemporary art.

She currently works from her home studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.
